The IAMM Consortium

In IAMM, three universities of applied sciences (Fontys, Windesheim, Saxion) collaborate, supplemented by universities (Delft, Enschede), businesses, and network organizations. Together, they research and share knowledge about various forms of metal printing. The focus extends beyond just the technology, encompassing other aspects crucial for successful adoption in the production chain. The diversity within the group, both geographically and in expertise, ensures a comprehensive approach for the effective growth of additive manufacturing as a complementary manufacturing solution.

SPRONG GROEP

With funding from the Netherlands Organisation for Scientific Research (NWO), IAMM is developing a knowledge and facilities infrastructure related to metal printing to promote its knowledge and usage in the Netherlands.

A SPRONG group consists of a collaboration between (at least) 2 universities of applied sciences and practical partners, such as companies from the professional field (for example, SMEs), public institutions, and governments. Strong SPRONG groups have a broad impact on the quality of research at the involved universities of applied sciences.
